Mentorship
1:1 guidance for engineers and students aiming for roles in robotics, manufacturing, and Physical AI.
From automation to autonomy
Manufacturing is moving from automation to autonomy — from machines that follow instructions to autonomous systems that make decisions. Most people work on one piece: a better robot, a faster fleet, a smarter algorithm.
Joshua works on the problem underneath all of them: how do humans and autonomous systems operate together as one.
I build the systems that move parts through factories autonomously, at scale. At Tesla factories, I take autonomous systems from pilot to high-volume operations. The work didn't stay on the floor — I translate what I learn deploying real systems into the standards that govern the entire industry.
I publish, speak, and teach because the gap between what's happening in the most advanced labs & factories and what most of the industry understands is enormous. Closing that gap is the most useful thing I do.
